Biomedical Textiles seminar, 3 juni 2010, Brussel

FlandersBio, the cluster organisation of the Flemish life sciences and biotech sector, and Centexbel, the Belgian Textile Research Centre, kindly invite you to the ‘Biomedical Textiles seminar’, on Thursday 3 June 2010 (from 8:30 am onwards) at VBO, Ravensteinstraat 4, Brussels.

What?

This seminar wil focus on innovations and novel applications of biomedical textiles and related life sciences and textile technology collaborations. The main goal is to initiate cross-cluster interactions and to develop interdisciplinary research ideas leading to innovation and valorisation opportunities. Here you can find the full programme.

Who will be there and Why you should participate?

This seminar is open to academic and industry experts as well as business developers and service providers. Via the 'getting connected formula', participants will get the opportunity to present their company and to discuss current needs and possible collaborations. Through a cross-border collaboration, the presence of a broad area of related expertise will be ensured and industrial and research partners from Belgium as well as neighboring countries will be present. The new ERA-NET initiative CrossTexNet will increase the possibilities for cross-border collaboration, and will be highlighted during the seminar.
